Most people think that for exercising to be effective, it has to be done at the gym. However, attending a gym can be quite costly. Plus if doing repetitive routines sounds like a drag to you, you might give up soon enough. Luckily for you, you may have a dose of exercise even without leaving your home.

But first consider having a fit and healthy body, instead of aiming to lose weight fast. Think of long-term goals, which you will enjoy most likely throughout your life. So just exactly what type of exercising you can do in your home? Cleaning the house, that is!

Use the stairs frequently to exercise your lower body. To force yourself to climb up and down the stairs, do not clean an entire floor first before moving to the next. Instead, clean a small portion on one floor, then go to another floor to clean a small portion there. As a finale, vacuum-clean the stairs for a dose of weight lifting.

Do away with your usual dyson vacuum dc17 when cleaning the floor. It makes your floor cleaning efficient, so you exert less effort. Instead, use a broom and mop when cleaning the floor. Get on all fours and pick up debris and animal hairs on the carpet. If the carpet is not at all that large, take it outside and shake off the dust.

For very large pieces of furniture, you can let them slide on the floor, or ask for help. But for small ones, try carrying them to get them out of the way of your cleaning, then getting them back into place. You can dust surfaces by having rags in your both hands. This routine will work out your arms, making them firmer and stronger.

Cleaning and maintaining the garden is also a good way to burn off excess calories. Start by trimming the bushes, followed by removing the weeds. Then proceed with sweeping all the fallen leaves, branches and other debris. Mow the grass, then follow it with watering of the plants.

Of course your work out should be accompanied by healthy eating habits. Preparing your own meals gives you the benefit of knowing what goes into your mouth. When cooking low-fat dishes, worry not that they might end up uninteresting. You may add zest to your creations using spices, mirin seasoning, and the like. Also, you can simply buy a recipe book designed for health-conscious people.
