Firework Safety
A lot of people seem to think that fireworks are really only around towards the end of the year but I would really disagree with this because people have them all over the year all of the time for many occasions, the main thing to remember is safety and it is highly important that you are safe when using or being near the fireworks.
The main thing to remember is that illegal fireworks are called illegal for a reason which means you shouldn’t have them, they are highly dangerous. Look for the BS 7114 as this is the standard that all British fireworks should meet. On top of this you really need to make sure you read instructions. The worst thing you can do is actually read the firework under a naked flame as it will cause it to explode.
If you can make sure you get a bucket of earth to let the fireworks off in because this will be the safest of ways to do things. Eye protection is key for the person lighting the fireworks and gloves should be worn when handling sparklers.
It is important to note that it is illegal to set fireworks off between 11pm and 7am unless there are certain celebrations going on at the time, obviously you cannot set them off on public too. If you do this then it could result in a fine or even imprisonment so bare this in mind. On bonfire night you are allowed to set fireworks off until midnight and on New Years Eve it is 1am.
Of course you are not allowed to throw fireworks or keep them on you. You should never throw used fireworks on a bonfire because it could still cause them to explode on you.
Make sure that you know the rules, regulations and safety advice before you go out and buy firework wheels and of course firework selection boxes and fireworks
