Flowers That Are Grown In Summer

The summer has arrived in the UK so lots of people are looking forward to some hot weather. To be honest I run Birmingham florists business in the local area of Birmingham, so I am looking forward to the flower shows that take place in May and June. In May I visited the Chelsea Flower Show in Chelsea, London which was held by the Royal Horticultural Society in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Because my dad used to go to these flowers shows before this was my first show.

Floristry is our family business which I joined few months ago so I am slowly getting use to it. In the Chelsea flower show I learned a lot so I want to share one thing I learned which is about summer flowers. I was always keen on flowers but since I joined the business and been to the flower show my knowledge on flowers has grown than before. Flowers such as amaranthus, aster, bouvardia, bellflower, daisy, dahlia, freesia, ginger, foxgloves, gerbera, gardenia, heliconia and many more are all types of summer flowers.

There are some names above which lots of people have not heard about but I am sure everyone has heard about Jasmine flowers. Jasmine flowers are loved by everyone worldwide because of it unique fragrance. This is also a summer flower. Lavender is also a summer flower, which again provides its own unique fragrance. Lavender’s fragrance is used in many products from beauty to cleaning. Collection of jasmine and lavender flowers can make a bouquet of birthday flowers.

If you have a wedding to attend this summer the flowers mentioned above can not only make a great birthday flowers but also can make a fantastic bouquet for wedding flowers. The freshness of the flowers and the fragrance will just put a massive smile on the face of the receiver which is guaranteed.
