Gaga Designs Sunglasses?
It was really only a matter of time before the pop sensation Stefani Germantta, aka Lady Gaga started to think about releasing her crazy fashions to the public and sure enough this week she has announced that she is going to be working together with Linda Farrow who already designs sunglasses with labels such as Alexander Wang and The Row.
Gaga has announced before that the reason she dresses like a bit (a lot ) of a nutter is because she was bullied at school but this has not been confirmed because many people said that she was not bullied at all and that she was actually a very popular girl.
It really doesn’t matter if she is telling the truth or not because her style is brilliant and very witty and unique, she is doing people a favour by bringing these designs to the public. So expect these designer glasses not to be prescription glasses but full blown Lady Gaga greatness that only she could come up with. The fact is that these glasses are likely to be very expensive and you will most likely end up being bullied for wearing them simply because they will look a bit stupid.
However I have to say that if she designs sunglasses for men that I will be interested in at least having a look at them simply because I like being a bit different too and they may actually end up being in fashion purely because she has designed them. This is where it becomes a problem because her unique way of dressing will become the norm for a lot of people and her sunglasses may be as well known as other big brands like aviator sunglasses.
It remains to be seen if they turn out to be any good or not.
