Hydroponic Nutrients: Select the Right Nutrients for the Right Flora

When we plant seeds, it needs water, soil and sunlight to grow. There are different methods of growing plants and one such way is the hydroponic gardening method. Many individuals use this method for indoor gardening. Unlike the regular method, hydroponic nutrients were needed for the growth of plants.

Hydroponic nutrients are very much similar to fertilizer that is generally given to make the roots strong. Ever since the introduction of the hydroponic gardening method, many housewives started to use this method for their indoor gardens. Manufacturers sold all sorts of products that had hydroponic nutrients. The type of product selected depended on the type of plant you had and its stage in the life cycle. ‘Advanced Nutrients’ are hydroponic nutrients that come in different packages for different plants.

Some individuals like plants that offer flowers. If you were such a person, getting hold of Sensi Bloom, a product of ‘Advanced Nutrients’ would produce the flowers you need. An organic product by ‘Advanced Nutrients’, the Iguana juice is a type of fertilizer that is used for plants that have large roots and branches. ‘Advanced Nutrients’ also offer additives to enhance the performance of certain aspects in the plants. The additive ‘Big Bud’ increases the size and number of flowers in a plant.

Similar to the Advanced Hydroponic nutrients, another line of plant food is the ‘Bcuzz’. A product by ‘Bcuzz’, the Bloom Stimulant is used on flowers to increase its cell production. Since it increases the sugar molecules in these flowers, one can use it on plants such as tomatoes and strawberries. For leafy vegetables such as lettuce, it is the ‘Foliar Boost’ hydroponic nutrients that are used.

Hydroponic nutrients are supposed to be given under proper measurements. The amount you give will obviously determine the growth of the plant. Unlike the regular gardening that requires water and soil, plants that are grown under the hydroponic gardening method need only hydroponic nutrients. It is the roots that usually absorb the hydroponic nutrients. Therefore you need to measure the correct amount. Too little or too much of the hydroponic nutrients could result in a poor yield.

The pH levels of the plants is necessary for it to grow. In order to check on this, you could get a pH level reader. The hydroponic nutrients and the growth of the plant can be regularly checked using this reader. The correct amount of hydroponic nutrients given at intervals will definitely give a better harvest.
