You can choose any type of strawberry to grow, though many people will choose a variety that will blossom more than just once a year. Some people will make their own using plastic bottles from around the house, or you can also buy them in kits at any garden supply store. If you purchase one from the store, you will get a kit that includes the seeds, container, and directions for using this method. Another type of gardening that is slightly unusual is called lasagna garden. This unique type of gardening makes it so you do not have the need for tilling up the dirt or fertiling it, since a layered compost is used instead. Instead, you use layers of fertilizer, cardboard, and compost to make your dirt. While it may be a newer method of gardening, it is a great way to get rich soil without worrying about pesticides or chemicals.
The possibilities are limitless on the different methods you can use to grow strawberry plants. As long as you keep the soil moist, and give it at least 6 hours of sunlight a day, you will soon be able to enjoy the fruits of your hard labor, no matter which growing method you choose.
