Rectangular trampolines as mentioned above are designed for professional gymnasts/athletes. A typical rectangular trampoline generates bounce from 20 to 25 feet and sometimes even higher. When jumping this high you need body strength to control your body which these athletes already have. American made trampolines generate less bounce compare to the European made trampoline which generates the most bounce. The surface constructed of string attached to the bed helps generate high bounce for rectangular trampolines and these bed are special springs made.
In general rectangular trampoline is bigger than circle trampoline and also has more space. More springs are attached to the rectangular which helps it generate more bounce than circle. The bed is more thicker in rectangular trampoline than circle trampoline. Round trampoline has a solid surface which doesn’t let the spring stretch too much otherwise it will generate high bounce. That is the main reason for it being good for home use.
