With November 2nd drawing near, there is a rising sense of anger that is thriving with US voters . It’s a spirit that has grown due to the last few years of a ugly economy. And with unemployment rates staying steady at over 9.5% for over 14 months now, the voter rage is surging . Check out this clip from Fox News all about elector anger from Bill O’Reilley’s Talking Points segment .

It’s not just the high stats on voter anger that grabbed my attention , but the fact that voters are so angry with the established regime that they would have the guts to scream at the Obama during a public speech . “You’re a liar!” was shouted from a disappointed American as many people booed him and forced him to exit . The statistics from the video above show that 43% of Americans are very furious and another 20% are somewhat angry. That is an overwhelming 63% of Americans who are not happy with the government in Washington. The left wing is afraid of these numbers . Come November, they know that Americans across the country will speak out and vote for change .

O’Reilley makes a great point that for Republicans , they can’t feel safe either. They need to get to work . Both parties do not hold the trust of the American people right now . The status quo of the past few years is just not enough to satsify Americans . This is a huge reason why the Tea Party has gained so much momentum . Tea Party candidates offer something different, and anything different than the present, can’t be worse. At least, that’s the hope . Americans are fed up with outrageous spending, high unemployment , jobs being lost to other countries and illegal Americans and the deficit that looms so large .

With all of voter angst that is so high right now, I wonder if any politician can dig us out of this mess . Yes, most Americans have short memories, but I never would have thought so many people would have turned on President Obama . Even tried and true veterans who have fought for this country may have a hard time gaining trust . It doesn’t matter if you have an encompassing military resume or if you wear military rings on your fingers, people still may not trust you. Take Senator McCain for example . The man was a P.O.W., and after several years in congress, he obviously has alternative motives . He could wear his custom military rings all day long and people still talk about his rigidness and that he can’t be trusted .

The people are angry . They need to see jobs being created . Until affairs get changed around, and that may not happen any time soon, America may have all kinds of politicians in and out of Washington . In my baseborn opinion, Americans need to take a long look in the mirror . We need to become the leaders in industry . We need to take over the jobs we’ve been to lazy to do . We need to spend less, save more, and elect politicians who believe the same thing .

Everyone works to find that perfect place to live. (And the majority people claim their town to be “it.”) So how do we sort out the truth from the opinions? Data, of course. It just so happens that College Station, TX not only made the top 10 list of the greatest places to raise a family, it was number 3 (according to Yahoo real estate)! How about that? Now for a little bragging time on why this spot is so good .

I have always said that this town is a bubble in a few ways. It sometimes keeps the rain out when we don’t want it to, but for the most part it keeps lots of the other bad stuff out, too . The crime rate here is crazy low, along with the unemployment rate. It has been a steady 6.9%, which is not too bad . The wage rate continues to arise and so does the evolution of this “not too small” smallish town .

Another of the perks associated with town comes with college towns in general. Cheap entertainment, and lots of it. There are so many ways to dump yourself in cultural activities and stay involved with the community. The downside is that there are limited employment options aside from Texas A&M. This also comes with many college towns. But, hey, those students keep you young.

Last but not least, a nearly unlimited supply of babysitters resides here. The cheap kind that just want to hang out with kids. (But you won’t have to worry about the cost because the cost of living is extremely cheapo here!)

For more stats on this and other cities: http://realestate.yahoo.com/promo/10-great-cities-for-raising-families.html

Now that I’ve adequately talked up the city, you should come check it out for yourself at College Station Homes and some other ones nearby at Dripping Springs Homes .

There is good reason the video below is taking the internet by storm, although it’s frustrating to watch. The ballooning unemployment rate spreads across the nation like a plague. And just like a plague it destroys lives and alters entire communities.

Both your political leanings and mine are irrelevant as both of us have been utterly betrayed by temporarily elected (and in some cases appointed) political hacks. The result of this naked abuse of power is the suffering of its people. Our current crop of “leaders” could possibly be the most corrupt and the most devious in modern if not all of our nation’s history.

What is being implemented to spur real economic growth? Nothing! The truth is obstacles are being constructed at every turn. The government appears to be intentionally destroying the greatest society ever created with layers of bureaucracy, burdensome taxes, and unfunded entitlement programs.

Such actions retard economic growth and will discourage would be entrepreneurs. An economist is not needed to understand this. Businesses and industries that provide us with the most comfortable lifestyles on the planet, institutions that should be embraced, are vilified as if they are single entities not comprised of real American men and women. It’s sad to see it unfold in such a manner and is extremely stressful for many a business person.

And yet, it your job to quietly tow the line, try with all your might to squeak out a living, and put your nose to the grind stone. All you can do is continue to sell. Sell your products, sell your services, and most importantly sell yourself as hard as you can and as creatively as you can. For example, with regard to our office supplies website, we’re concentrating on a niche that supports breast cancer patients. Pink office supplies are still under the larger umbrella of our core business but it allows us a new focus. Find a similar area in your business and do the same. Pay no attention to the looming dark clouds and even if it’s just an inch at a time, continue to move forward. Anything short of your best effort could be disastrous.

Invest in your business now as a means to leap frog competitor as he takes a more passive position. This is not an easy maneuver. It takes nerves of steel to press when others are peeling back. However, it is this exact contrarian posture that could be your saving grace. In other words, you zig when they zag. Seriously explore new market opportunities be it on the internet or value added areas. We did just this exact thing when we started selling business office supplies exclusively online as a means to protect our business form the destruction left behind when hurricane Katrina passed through our area. The climate today is much like it was in New Orleans back in 2005 only now the devastation is nation-wide and completely economical. Find your motivation and stay positive it will sustain you. And, have faith in America and its people. They and you are ultimately stronger than any temporary political goon.

Enlarge your screen (there is no sound but the point is well made)

It is the middle of 2010 and the job outlook is still not looking very good . We have an unemployment rate of 10% plus an under employment rate of more or less 25%. That means that one out of every 4 Americans , who are able to work are looking for a new job .

Please think about how technology has changed for a few minutes . Depending on your age, you can remember some pretty interesting things. When I was a youngster we had a rotary phone, and nowadays I do not even have a traditional land line. As a kid growing up we had one TV in our home with an antennae on the roof. Now we just got rid of cable TV, and if we choose to watch TV, we stream it through the Internet. Thinking of the Internet, I didn’t have the Internet when I was a kid! I remember my first cell phone now we have iphones. I remember my first computer, and I had an external 20 megabyte hard drive that was larger than most computers now , and I thought how could I never use up all that memory! Today I have a pen that has 4 gigabytes of memory!

So what does all this have to do with landing a job in today’s economy? Well, I want to point out how things have changed except one thing. How we land an interview and a job. Sure we may send resumes via email but basically the big majority of people do the same thing in order to get a new job that they did 100 years ago!

Most of the experts in this field teach the same thing that other experts instructed 50 years ago. We are to create a resume and deliver it to companies that are hiring and basically pray and hope that we get an interview. During the interview, we tell the interviewer everything we have performed in the past and again pray and hope that they will hire you.

Let’s ponder this for a moment and see yourself as a small business proprietor. Let’s say that you produce small little motors that go into toy cars, and you want to invest in a machine that will help automate the assembly. So you bring in a sales person from a company that produces customized machines. The sales rep comes in, and he starts talking about how his company manufactured a machine that transports large pallets about and saved the company 30% a year because it was faster than moving the pallets with a customary forklift. The sales rep continues on telling how his machine also saved the company time because it was 75% faster than moving these pallets traditionally . He continued on saying how he has machines that can lift 12 tons of material and move it 100 feet in less than a minute. Now as the leader of this company you would be thinking that yes this is great for your other clients, but you make small little motors, and you do not need a machine that can move 12 tons, let alone one that can lift 12 pounds!

Well, that is what the majority of job seekers do when they speak on an interview. Who cares what you accomplished in the past, how are you going to help a company make more money, save more money or save time? That is all that is important .

Now suppose a sales rep comes in, and he researched your company . He had a basic schematic prepared of a little machine that would attach all the small pieces and showed you how this machine would make 20 motors an hour instead of the 12 motors an hour that you currently produce . Better still, imagine if he came in with a little prototype and demonstrated to you how quickly it would put your motors together.

Who would you hire to build your machine? Exactly! So instead of interviewing for a new job and talking about what you accomplished in the past, don’t you believe that it makes sense to audition for the job and show the manager that you can do this job better than the other candidates?

To audition for a job, it takes a lot of time and research , but it also works much better . The Career Professor‘s Job search clinic has a 100% success rate of people landing a new job, even in this economy . Why? Because it teaches people how to audition for a job not interview for a job.

So for your next interview why not audition for the job instead of the same old Interview?

Everyone of us needs some form of relaxation, a task that helps release stress and tension from our everyday lives. Many have discovered that gardening has helped them maintain a peaceful composure. Gardening has been a worldwide act for thousands of years, so it must work.Click through here for more information on vegetable garden layout.

The economic state of our country is not the greatest, the unemployment rate is increasing greatly. For some families planting a vegetable garden would help financially. If families were to be able to grow a good portion of their own vegetables, it would save them money that could be spent elsewhere. Gardening can give you back a few extra dollars. As you plant flowers and rose bushes, your gardening passion is also helping out nature.

While you glance around at your garden you can notice humming birds and bumble bees moving from one flower to another. The nectar is their food and they pollenize as they go. Hummingbirds will come back year after year if you have a flower garden, they know where the dependable food is. They must appreciate your gardening interest; you’ve created an annual buffet and rest stop for them. The most popular method of gardening today is organic gardening.

This type of gardening requires no harmful pesticides or chemicals which contribute to soil and water pollution. So you are contributing to a better environment when you garden organically. Use carrot peels, eggshells, other food waste as fertilizers your soil will be enriched without being polluted. Everyone should go green. You can obtain more information on vegetable garden layout here.

There are many benefits to gardening including all the above, not to mention good exercise and fresh air. Wear light clothing and sunscreen to protect yourself from the suns rays. Do not overexert yourself. Have fun while enjoying your hobby of gardening. You can get more tips on vegetable seeds here.
