Tiger On The Return
Tiger Woods is set to make a return to golf later this year when he plays at the links and the world of golf really does have mixed reviews about his return.
Tiger has been out for a good few months now after his whole affairs deal and too right, but the thing is, it has given so many other golfers a chance to be seen in the public eye that having Tiger return to golf once more almost seems wrong.
Many golfers have been winning competitions this year and getting the publicity and cheers that they get whereas last year when people won a tournament it was almost as if no one cared unless it was Tiger Woods holding up the trophy. Tiger has certainly lost a lot of respect and the only way he has any hope of earning this back is if he plays again.
A lot of people do not realise that there are a lot of golfers out there who play just as well and even better than the world’s “number 1″ and other golfers like Ernie Els manage to keep it together.
Golf was often seen as quite a respected sport but it would seem that Tiger attracted a lot of fans that would simply shout and cheer whenever he approached the ball which is pretty stupid. People would even shout get in the hole whenever Tiger was taking a starting shot. Hopefully the people that will go and watch Tiger now will be more traditional golf fans and people that enjoy the game for what it is, a gentleman’s game.
I am myself not a golfer but my father is and I have to say that him and all of his golfing buddies have never really like woods. Still on the occasion I will pick up my golf trolleys and get out there on the course. I have found that marine batteries and UPS batteries are the best ones to fit into an electronic golf trolley.
